How I became "Homeless Joe" Part 2 of ?

I Figure that I should add a little backdrop to the situation. I spent the 1st year of my life and much of my 1st 18 on an old 80 acre former dairy farm.

I later reclaimed some of the land back in 1998. I one day wanted to build a barn style home out back and have a small homestead.

Well I did a little bit of wandering and always managed to come back home.

In 2009 My dad inherited the 40 acres that I had grown fond of and he had done some improvements to it over the years.

In 2010 He decided to list his GIFT( now I know MANY of you would like that kind of gift including ME).

He persuaded me to move to the worst part of the 40, but I stayed steadfast where I was.

he PROMISED me 5 acres, but obviously on HIS terms!!!

I didn't want the "PRIME" spot, but just the spot I had favored or possibly another.

Well in the spring of 2011 I started to move over the "allocated spot"

In mid June he ( my dad((not exactly the name I use anymore for him)) ) told me an offer was put in on the property,BUT he was keeping MY 5 acres

Then July 3rd he called me and said  the land was SOLD and I had less then a week to clear  ALL my possessions off of the property.

Luckily I had braced for the possibility of this happening, BUT still I had more than plenty of stuff out there...because I thought I would always have the security of 5 acres.

Keep in mind too that this was a FAMILY farmstead and this was my biological father.
My grandfather would have gladly given me 5 acres, but he died when I was 12. My Grandmother GAVE it to my father assuming that he would do right by me...

Well in August I received MY payout of $1000 in lieu of the 5 acres that I was promised.

( The land sold for atleast $30,000(AFTER ALL COSTS)....an 1/8 of that (or 5acres) would be  $3750... but apparently MY math is quite off...BTW it was originally listed @ $54,000 and I could justify a small parcel going for $5000 in a fair market. ( because that is great for a building site.

Well the bottom line IS : This is how I have become Landless and HOMELESS
